2016 Appreciation Reception

As we wrap up another great year serving the Denton community, we at Keep Denton Beautiful (KDB) feel such a sense of pride for what we have been able to accomplish with you – our volunteers, supporters, and friends. KDB’s Annual Appreciation Reception is an opportunity to highlight these accomplishments, and honor the individuals and partnerships that make it all possible. The 2016 Appreciation Reception was held last Wednesday, November 2nd at the Patterson-Appleton Arts Center. Attendees were treated to a delicious dinner provided by The Chestnut Tree; donated beer from Grapevine Craft Brewery; live music from renowned local musician Leoncarlo Canlas; award photos from the Denton ISD Advanced Technology Center’s Commercial Photography Class; and beautiful decor from our friends at McMath Middle School, Strickland Middle School, and the Native Plants Art Exhibition. Thank you to every volunteer, partner, and supporter who contributes to our mission of a clean, beautiful Denton. We couldn’t do it without you!

Floral arrangements and table centerpieces were created by student gardeners from McMath Middle School and Strickland Middle School, whose school gardens have been funded in part through KDB’s Environmental Education Grants Program.
