About GAC

For 29 years, Dentonites have taken an active role in keeping their city clean and beautiful by participating in the Great American Cleanup (GAC). GAC is part of a national effort with Keep America Beautiful, and more than 20,000 communities take part each year.

In 2016, 2,100 Denton volunteers joined together to clean up nearly 4¬†tons of litter from our community’s streets, waterways, and public spaces. KDB invites you to join hundreds of registered volunteers and be a part of this huge community effort to keep Denton clean, beautiful, and vibrant!

Check out the GAC Facebook Event for the latest details on this year’s cleanup – and don’t forget to tell your friends you’re going!
