Re-tree Denton

Tree Conservation Fund

The Tree Conservation Fund was established to give the citizens of Denton the opportunity to directly finance reforestation efforts in the community. In the fall of 1998, the Public Utilities Board approved this voluntary-participation program and placed it on the City of Denton's monthly utility bill.

The funds for the Tree Conservation Fund Program are to be used for public land reforestation efforts in the City of Denton. This would include community education regarding the proper planting, care and maintenance of trees; street tree plantings within city right-of-way; and could include funding for the start-up of a permanent city tree nursery.

The battle cry for our reforestation campaign is, "Money doesn't grow on trees, but your money can re-tree Denton!"

So help re-tree Denton by making a contribution on your monthly utility bill — or use the form below. Whether you donate $1 a month or more, all contributions help make a difference in our urban forest!
