1. Engage your green team with a campaign!
Have your green team create content for the morning announcements or a small presentation to share with their classmates about being a green team member and why it is important to care for the planet
2. Launch a recycling challenge!
This could be a challenge per grade or between classrooms. See who can collect the most recycling and reward the winning team.
3. Plant a tree or make a garden!
If your campus doesn’t have a garden other options are to plant a tree, vegetable, or flower with your class. This can be done individually or collectively. It is a great tool to learn the life cycle of a plant.
4. Have an art contest!
Have your students create art with sustainable materials or based on an Earth Day theme.
5. Join Roots & Shoots!
You can take a pledge or participate in the many challenges and projects that they have. https://www.rootsandshoots.org
