KDB and Denton Win Awards at Keep Texas Beautiful Annual Conference

KDB staff members spent three days in Georgetown, TX attending the Keep Texas Beautiful Conference June 11-13. It’s a great time to meet with other affiliates in the state, and to be recognized for all the amazing things going on in Denton. KDB received recognition as a Gold Star Affiliate and as 2nd Place in our population category for the Governor’s Community Achievement Awards.

Keep Texas Beautiful also offers statewide awards that recognize the efforts of individuals, businesses, media outlets, government agencies, youth, educators and education organizations that make efforts to enhance their community and protect the Lone Star State. This year, Denton as a community received the most awards with FOUR in various categories.
